Who can apply?
Any business with an ABN, including sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts. Every application is subject to the lender's credit assessment.
Who provides the finance?
Finance is arranged through Geared Finance, a specialist equipment finance provider. LygonCoffee is not the lender and doesn't give financial advice, so please consider whether finance suits your business.
What can I finance?
Our café packages (espresso machine, grinder and water filtration) and office setups (bean-to-cup machine and milk fridge). If you need equipment that isn't listed, we can source most leading brands and quote it with finance. Beans are ordered separately and aren't part of the finance.
How long can I finance for?
Terms run from 1 to 5 years. A longer term means lower repayments, but more interest over the life of the finance.
What does the estimate include?
The calculator shows an indicative repayment for the amount and term you enter. Your final repayment is confirmed by the lender after assessment, and depends on the approved rate and everything included in your quote, such as delivery or installation.
Does the calculator include GST?
Enter the equipment price excluding GST. Prices on our package pages include GST, so divide them by 1.1 first, or use the "See repayments" link on each package, which does it for you.
What about deposits, fees and ownership?
These depend on the finance product you're approved for. They're set out clearly in your finance quote before you sign anything.
How do I apply, and how long does it take?
Use "Apply Now" in the calculator, or ask us for a quote and we'll send you a link. The application is completed online with Geared Finance. Timing depends on your application and the lender's assessment, and Geared will contact you directly if they need anything further.
When will my equipment arrive?
Once your finance is approved, we confirm stock and lead time with you and arrange delivery and installation. Your quote shows the expected lead time for your setup.
Can I claim the equipment as a business expense?
Business equipment may be claimable, but it depends on your circumstances. Please check with your accountant.
Can I still pay outright?
Yes. Every setup can be bought outright by bank transfer or card. Finance is optional.
