1. Who we are

LygonCoffee (ABN 42 968 372 311) is an Adelaide coffee roaster and mobile coffee business. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone, and delivery and billing addresses.
• Order details: what you've bought, subscriptions, rewards points and account details.
• Enquiry details: what you tell us in forms — for example event date and location, business name and ABN, expected volumes or a sample brief.
• Website data: basic technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and cookies (see section 6).

We don't collect or store your full card details. Payments are handled by our payment providers.

3. How we use it

• To process and deliver your orders, subscriptions and bookings.
• To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To run your account and rewards points.
• To improve our website, products and service.
• To send you news and offers — only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails.
• To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share what's needed with businesses that help us run LygonCoffee:

• Our payment provider, WooPayments (powered by Stripe), which processes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments securely.
• Couriers and shipping platforms, to deliver your order.
• Our website host and the tools that run our site, shop, forms and email.
• Third-party finance providers, only if you choose to apply for equipment finance.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia (for example in the United States). We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.

5. Keeping it safe

Our site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access to customer information is limited to our team, and we use trusted platforms to store it. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, order records for tax purposes), then delete or de-identify it.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll let you know and report it as required.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files that help our site work — for example, remembering your cart and keeping you logged in. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to show us how people use the site (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve it. If we add advertising tools in future, such as the Meta Pixel, we'll update this policy first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the shop (like the cart and checkout) won't work without them.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
• You can ask us to delete your account. We'll do so unless we need to keep certain records by law.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
