Machine Care Kit

When did your coffee start tasting flat?

It rarely happens overnight. Coffee oils slowly build up in the group head, milk dries inside the steam wand, and old grounds sit in the grinder. One day you notice the coffee tastes a little bitter and a little tired. Our espresso machine cleaning kit keeps that from happening.

Why regular cleaning matters

Every shot leaves a thin layer of oil behind, and old oil tastes rancid. Cleaning regularly keeps the flavour clean, helps the machine run smoothly and saves you from expensive service calls caused by build-up.

What’s in the kit

• Cafetto Espresso Clean (1kg): espresso machine cleaner for backflushing
• Rhino group head brush: scrubs coffee from the group seal and shower screen
• Cafetto Milk Frother Cleaner (1L): breaks down dried milk in the steam wand and jugs
• Cafetto Grinder Cleaner (450g): run it through to lift old oils from the burrs
• Rhino grinder and bench brush: sweeps away grounds every day
• Clean Machine Monster cloths (2 pack)

A simple routine

1. Daily: brush the group head, purge and wipe the steam wand, and sweep the grinder and bench.
2. Weekly: backflush with Espresso Clean (if your machine allows it) and soak the steam tip and jugs in milk cleaner.
3. Monthly: run grinder cleaner through your grinder.

Good to know

• Backflushing needs a blind (solid) basket, which usually comes with your machine. Check your manual to see whether your machine can be backflushed.
• Descaling is best left to a service technician.
• Ships direct within 1–2 business days. Delivery is calculated at checkout.
