Our roastery, your business.
Run your own café, van or coffee business under a name people already know — backed by our roastery and our team. No franchise, just a straightforward licence.
How Licensing Works
A lighter way to run under our name.
We've kept this deliberately simple — no franchise fees, no royalties on every sale. Just three things.
01
License the name
Trade as LygonCoffee™ — a trademarked name, with our branding and the recognition that comes with it.
02
Source through us
Your coffee is supplied exclusively by our Adelaide roastery, so every cup tastes like LygonCoffee.
03
Pay a flat monthly fee
One straightforward fee — not a percentage of your sales, and no royalty arrangement to manage.
What's includedEverything you need to start trading under our name.
- The LygonCoffee™ name and logo — our trademarked brand, yours to trade under
- Brand artwork for your signage, menus and socials
- Freshly roasted coffee supplied from our Adelaide roastery
- Setup guidance on equipment, menu and dialling in
- Event and catering enquiries passed on when you're available
- A direct line to our team — no call centres
Why It's Worth It
You're not starting from zero.
A licence isn't just a name and a bag of beans — it's the reputation and the demand we've already built, working for you from day one.

A few honest answers.
Everything you'd want to know before registering. Anything we haven't covered, just ask.
The licence
How is this different from a franchise?
A franchise usually means a large upfront fee, a percentage of every sale paid as royalties, and strict rules on how you run things. Our licence is much lighter: you trade under the LygonCoffee name, source your coffee through us, and pay one flat monthly fee. The business is yours — you set it up, run it day to day and keep what you earn. The one thing we're particular about is how the brand looks and tastes, so every partner meets our presentation and quality standards.
What exactly is included?
The LygonCoffee™ name and logo to trade under, brand artwork for your signage, menus and socials, freshly roasted coffee from our Adelaide roastery, setup guidance on equipment, menu and dialling in, event and catering enquiries passed on when you're available, and a direct line to our team. The fine details are worked through with each partner.
What does it cost?
There are two ongoing costs: a flat monthly licence fee, and the coffee you buy from us at wholesale prices. There's no franchise fee and no percentage of your sales. Your own setup costs — such as a van, cart or equipment — are separate and depend on what you're planning. We'll go through exact figures once we understand your situation.
Do I have to buy all my coffee from you?
Yes. Every partner's coffee comes from our Adelaide roastery. That's what keeps the LygonCoffee name meaningful — a customer should get the same quality cup whichever partner serves them.
Is LygonCoffee a protected brand?
Yes. LygonCoffee™ is our trademarked name and logo. As a partner you're licensed to use it, and we look after the brand so nobody else can trade on it.
Can anyone become a partner?
Every registration is reviewed individually, because partners carry our name. We look at your experience, your plans and how your setup will present the brand. Existing vans, carts and cafés are very welcome — we may ask for some updates before launch, such as LygonCoffee signage or a refresh of the van's exterior, so every partner looks the part. If it isn't the right fit, we'll tell you honestly.
Running your business
Do I keep my profits?
Yes. Your sales are your own. Because the fee is flat rather than a percentage, the more you sell, the more you keep.
How do shared enquiries work?
Schools, community groups, sporting clubs and event organisers regularly ask us for mobile coffee and catering. When a request suits a partner's area and they're available, we pass it on. It's a genuine head start, but the volume isn't guaranteed and depends on demand in your area. Our existing workplace and wholesale accounts stay with LygonCoffee.
Is my area exclusive to me?
Territory is something we'll talk through with each partner, as it depends on the area and the type of business. Let us know where you'd like to operate when you register.
Do I need my own van, cart or equipment?
Yes — you own and run your own setup. If you're starting from scratch, we can guide you on machines, grinders and fit-out, and help you source equipment.
Do I need hospitality experience?
It helps, but it's not essential. If you're new to coffee, tell us about your background and we'll talk through the support and skills you'd need before you start.
Getting started
Is this available now?
We're opening partnerships as part of our 2027 plans. Registering now puts you first in line as opportunities open up.
Which areas are you looking at?
We're happy to hear from people anywhere in Australia. Tell us your area when you register and we'll let you know how it fits our plans.
What happens after I register?
We read every registration personally, then get in touch for a relaxed chat about your plans. Registering costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything.
Is there a written agreement?
Yes. Before anything is signed, we go through a written licence agreement together that sets out the fee, the term and what each side is responsible for. Take your time with it, and feel free to get your own advice.
Still have questions? Register your interest and we'll talk it through.
